SR Inc welcomes Autodesk to the Sustainable Business & Enterprise Roundtable

Autodesk, headquartered in San Rafael, CA makes software for people who make things. If you’ve ever driven a high-performance car, admired a towering skyscraper, used a smartphone, or watched a great film, chances are you’ve experienced what millions of Autodesk customers are doing with their software.  Over 100 million people use Autodesk software like AutoCAD, Revit, Maya, 3ds Max, Fusion 360, SketchBook, and more to unlock their creativity and solve important design, business and environmental challenges.

Autodesk is now a net‑zero greenhouse gas emissions company across their business and value chain, following through on their commitment set last year. This year, Autodesk is committing to two new science‑based GHG emissions reduction targets: to reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions by 50% by fiscal year 2031, compared to fiscal year 2020, and to reduce Scope 3 GHG emissions per dollar of gross profit by at least 25%, during the same timeframe.

Autodesk’s Carbon Fund, created in FY21, enables them to invest in the efficiency targets set by their new reduction commitment and continue to “zero out” all remaining emissions each year with investments in renewable energy and certified carbon offset and removal projects.
