SR Inc welcomes Bentall Kennedy to the Sustainable Business & Enterprise Roundtable

Bentall originated as a small construction company in 1911, ultimately emerging as the largest Canadian-based real estate advisory and services organization. Kennedy Associates was established in 1978 and grew to become America’s largest independent real estate advisor. The two companies joined forces under a strategic partnership in 2006 and in late 2010, created a comprehensive, North America-wide services platform that is soundly supported by unparalleled depth of real estate knowledge and experience.

Bentall Kennedy has made significant strides towards sustainable business, most recently receiving the 2012 Earth Award from the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) for The Sun Life Financial Centre in Ottawa and the Gateway Mississauga Industrial Park, as well as the Rex Award for Office Development of the Year presented to the Broadway Tech Centre Bldg. #4 from the National Association of Industrial & Office Properties (NAIOP).

Bentall Kennedy was also honored by The Office Building of the Year (TOBY) Awards in the following six categories:

• The Building of the Year Award, Corporate Facility, Maple Leaf II, Mississauga
• The Building of the Year, 500,000-1 million sq. ft.- 145 King St. West, Toronto
• Jamieson Place (bcIMC): Keri Cormier, Property Manager – Property Management Team of the Year
• Central Park Plaza (Concert Properties): Nadine Murphy, Property Manager – TOBY 100,000 to 249,000 sf category
