The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Office of Federal High-Performance Green Buildings has been selected as a charter Member of the Sustainable Corporate Real Estate Roundtable. The GSA is the largest landlord in the U.S. and owns and leases over 350 million square feet in 8,600 buildings in more than 2,200 communities nationwide. The GSA will benefit from SR Inc’s original management best practices research and conferencing with top private sector real estate leaders who make up the Charter Membership of SR Inc’s Sustainable Corporate Real Estate Roundtable service. SCRER’s best practices research and in-person and web-enabled conferencing is focused tightly on what is proving most cost-effective in the move to higher performing and more sustainable real estate at the most impactful – portfolio-wide – level. Mr. Kevin Kampschroer leads the GSA’s engagement with SR Inc. Mr. Kampschroer is a global leader in the move to a more sustainable built environment and has been at the forefront of GSA’s efforts on sustainability and design. He helps lead the GSA’s unprecedented effort to move federal real estate toward greater efficiency and sustainability.
