Yesterday, at this month’s BOMA Roundtable, John Rogers of Tishman Speyer gave an excellent talk about the [water reclamation project](http://www.gbreb.com/boma/downloads/Aug1308.pdf) that he has overseen at [One Federal Street](http://www.tishmanspeyer.com/properties/Property.aspx?id=110&section=Overview) in downtown Boston. Then today, my newsreader alerted me to an [article ](http://greenerbuildings.com/column/2008/08/14/box-rain-rainwater-harvesting)on the state of rainwater harvesting in the US.

Water is a uniquely local resource and it will be regulated locally. The [future of water](http://www.siwi.org) will be interesting to watch.
