Today, Sustainability Roundtable, Inc. (SR Inc) announced it is officially a Public Benefit Corporation (PBC). The legal structure that PBC status entails ingrains stakeholder governance into SR Inc’s stated mission: to accelerate the development and adoption of best practices in more sustainable business. Both Delaware and Massachusetts accepted the Certification of Amendment for SR Inc’s PBC status. The benefit corporation designation represents a commitment to higher purpose, accountability, and transparency standards.
