SR Inc Member-Client Bentall Kennedy & UNEP Release Guidance on Portfolio-wide Optimization

UNEP FI’s Investor Briefing, “Unlocking the Energy Efficiency Retrofit Investment Opportunity”

Sustainability Roundtable, Inc was pleased to join SBER Member-Clients and leading experts at the presentation of the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative’s investor briefing Unlocking the Energy Efficiency Retrofit Investment Opportunity. The ground-breaking piece on innovative financing methods for energy efficiency retrofits was co-authored by Member-Client James Gray-Donald, Vice President, Sustainability at Bentall Kennedy and Toby Heaps, founder and CEO of Corporate Knights. The event was hosted by Ronald Herbst, Director of Asset & Wealth Management and Manager of Energy Efficiency and Sustainability Products, and Ari Frankel, Head of ESG Strategy, Real Estate, at Deutsche Bank, in their LEED EBOM-Certified New York headquarters. The discussion complemented SR Inc’s ongoing themes of Sustainable Innovation and Strategic Optimization, focusing on the trillion dollar opportunity in green real estate and future investment vehicles.

The report provides a seven-step process for how investors can successfully increase the value of their real estate assets through energy efficiency retrofits, built upon insights and best practices from investment and real estate industry leaders. Each step is supported by a practical example of how it has been addressed and implemented by an investor. The report aligns with SR Inc’s five plus year focus on driving sustainable high-performance throughout large real estate and operation portfolios.
