I’m thrilled to share that I’ve joined Sustainability Roundtable Inc (SR Inc) as a Senior Expert Advisor with the Net Zero Consortium for Buyers (NZCB). Having long admired SR Inc’s role as a trusted partner to corporate sustainability leaders, it’s an honor to now contribute directly to this remarkable team.
At Bloomberg, I led the company’s clean energy transformation by securing a diverse portfolio of clean energy deals in the U.S. and Europe, including virtual power purchase agreements (VPPAs) for wind and solar projects, on-site solar installations, community solar, and one of the first large-scale aggregated procurements. These efforts expanded global renewable sourcing and put Bloomberg on track to match 100% of its annual electricity demand with clean energy.
As a former corporate buyer, I understand the complexities SR Inc’s Member-Clients encounter. I look forward to helping them manage internal priorities, secure executive endorsement, mitigate risk, and act quickly to pursue valuable projects.
This is a critical moment for renewables in the United States. Federal subsidies remain strong, but recent policy shifts mean these incentives are set to phase out starting next year. At the same time, electricity demand is inflecting upwards due to electrification and explosive AI-driven load growth. SR Inc recently outlined these dynamics in our Q2 2025 U.S. VPPA blog post, which explains why timing and execution are more important now than ever.
At SR Inc, I look forward to supporting Member-Clients as we:
- Advance buyer-organized aggregated procurements (VPPA 2.0) that deliver cost advantages and credible purchaser-caused RECs for NZCB buyers
- Build decarbonization roadmaps that align Scope 1–3 science-based targets with actionable strategies
- Expand access to utility-scale clean energy globally, with projects now advancing in Europe and Asia, not just the U.S.
- Empower companies of all sizes to participate in utility-scale clean energy through our aggregation model
I am energized to be part of a mission-driven team that not only accelerates clean energy procurement but also helps companies connect with and meet rising policy, investor, and stakeholder expectations for credible impact.
