SR Inc President & CEO James Boyle speaks at ULI’s “Real Estate Development Process” Workshop
This past Thursday, Jim Boyle, President & CEO of Sustainability Roundtable Inc presented to an international gathering of executives in San Francisco as part of an Urban Land Institute (ULI) Workshop entitled Real Estate Development Process: Part II. Jim participated in the panel on “Retrofitting Buildings to Green” with global commercial real estate broker and consulting company, Cushman & Wakefield.
During the panel, Jim discussed Leanne Tobias’s, Managing Principal at Malachite LLC, recent book entitled “Retrofitting Office Buildings to be Green and Energy Efficient.” His presentation touched upon such subjects as green property operations, management and contracts, green leases and insurance options, continuous commissioning, building benchmarking software and green metrics.
Real Estate Development Process: Part II allows participants to enhance their real estate development skills using as a base either knowledge from previous courses or their professional experiences. Using a case study approach, participants work in teams on several realistic case studies representing different stages of real estate development.
