SR Inc welcomes National Institutes of Health to the Sustainable Corporate
The National Institutes of Health (NIH), a part of the United States Department of Health and Human Services, has been selected as a Charter Member of the Sustainable Corporate Real Estate Roundtable. Currently NIH’s national real estate portfolio is over 19 million square feet. Mr. William “Kenny” Floyd leads the NIH’s engagement with SR Inc from NIH’s headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland. Mr. Floyd, Director of the Division of Environmental Protection (DEP) Office of Research Facilities, has been at the forefront of NIH’s efforts on sustainability and healthy buildings. Recently the NIH Office of Research Facilities was awarded the 2009 CTC White House Environmental Award.
